Gore / Chunked Item Bug Fixed?

in BGII:EE Bugs (v1.2.2030)
Hello I am trying to find out if the Gore setting item destruction bug was fixed. I am new to the game and playing on iOS. Thank you very much in advance!

    Was this fixed for the PC vanilla version? If so it's likely that it was patched in IOS. I have been playing with gore off as I don't want to chance it until I find out for sure.

    If you have Gore enabled some items will get destroyed on enemies killed with Disintegrate, lots of Fire/Cold damage, etc. but items in the ground will disappear no matter what.

    It works the same on iOS, I've just got the Assassin's Composite Long Bow and Long Sword from the very start (edit) by turning Gore off.
