One query...how on earth does he look over that bar? XD

    He's over a pile of books but he hids them with illusions.
    Or maybe he's is taller but he made an illusion of a shorter version of himself...
    Probably he uses divination spells to look, since his only barred school is Necromancy, he can cast divination.

    He's a gnome, to be a tall gnome you'd have to be hitting 4ft :o xD
