Stuck in Durlag's Tower

in General Discussion (Spoiler Warning!)
I'm on level 3 of Durlag's Tower and I defeated the 4 elemental rooms. Yet I can't find the 'chessboard' room. I read I was supposed to teleport there. Is there a bug here? or do I need to do something else?

Any suggestion are appreciated.

    Are there any other notable bugs like this with SCS installed? I installed it a while back and am going to do another run in the near future but would love to know of any issues beforehand

    @EnterHaerDalis This is the first real bug I've encountered and I'm almost finished with this run. Its well worth it.

    Awesome. I look forward to finishing up my SCS run when I get the time :D
