[TOUCH] How to enable touch controls on Windows 8 Tablet?

Hello there! I've got an Dell Venue Pro 8 and bought the game yesterday. But I can't seen to make the touch controls work. From what I've searched on the forums, Windows tablets are not yet supported. Is there any way to mod the game to recognize the touch, like in Ipad and Android versions?
Are there any plans to officially support it?

    I'm very interested in playing on a tablet, but if I may ask, how is this helping with Baldur's Gate? It looks like the software is just creating a virtual gamepad controller.
