BG2EE Game crashes on rest on iPad

This just started a couple days ago and I'm having no luck figuring out what's wrong. I've read on the forums it could be due to bad items in my bags of holding so I've emptied them of just elven chain and of everything and nothing seems to help. My screen goes black, plays the sound of the rest screen, but after that nothing happens my screen stays black and eventually I need to close the program and restart it. Anyone have any ideas what else could be causing it?

    It happened to me too a couple of times.
    It's the resting video not loading.

    Is there any fix for the video not loading properly or am i SoL?

    I don't know.
    I just save often, because sometimes it happens (but not very often, it happened me every couple of weeks).

    It's been happening to me every time i rest last couple days. Guess I'll keep trying to find the problem.

    When you rest outside (umar hills, or de'arnise hold) do you have a video?

    nope. doesn't matter where i rest right now. It's always a black screen.

    Have you tried rebooting your iPad?
