I did, but only through BG1 so far. By the end she was a beast. I also EEKeepered the mage to a Wild Mage kit for a little extra flare. Hilariously enough, all the cleric spells and the inate abilities were affected by wild surge as well. Made for quite an awesome playthrough.
I tried playing one awhile back but to be honest I much preferred the fighter/cleric (because you can be a dwarf) or fighter/mage. I was playing in a group however.
I played a BG1 run a looong waaay back to v1.0.2012, and later made a SoA run (with a different character).
I'd say that playing F/M/T is better, unless you really want those Cleric spells (since the only thing you can't do as a F/M/C is disarming traps, it's also a good choice for soloing).
