Migrate from Steam to Beamdog Client

Hello everyone!
I've been lurking the forums for quite a while now and finally decided to enter the fray ;)
And for a start I would like to know if there is a way to migrate my BGEE and BG2EE copies I purchased from Steam to the Beamdog client?

I know, there is a cut between the funds you guys receive, when buying directly from Beamdog and when buying from steam. So to support you guys further, I am even willing to pay the difference in price, lets say via a paypal donation or such?

So hopefully you can help me somehow.

    Following this discussion, I've asked the same thing to Beamdog support more than 2 weeks ago, but still no replies...

    I have no idea if this is even possible. I'll tag @Dee‌ for his attention.

    I would think this only possible if you can get refunds from steam after playing a game. Is that possible?
