A Skald and his army of monks

I'm thinking of doing this as a run through damage output should be pretty legit

    Just get those throwing daggers, slings, and darts ready though. Monks are frighteningly bad at low levels! Though luckily you level up significantly faster in this game than in BGEE, so you got that in your favor.

    Though that Skald would need some serious speed boost or they will miss all the fun =P

    I think I would do Bard + Skald and then rest Monks (1 Vanilla, 1 Dark Moon and 2 Sun Soul) if I were to do such run.

    Sun Soul seems more useful in Undead swarm filled IWD.

    Are Sun Soul Monks Soulray and Soulbeam abilities classed as fire damage like their fist ability? If so I could see some cool synergy going on with a Dragon Disciple.

    Sun Soul would have been a good idea gave them flaming one handed weapons to deal with trolls then one of the monks got lucky with the hand wraps of fire.....For the Skald he spammed haste until he got boots of speed. The first few levels probably took place over several years due to how frequently they were sleeping.
