Have I messed up with Viconia?

in Baldur's Gate: Enhanced Edition
Hi there,

I picked up BGEE recently having not played it for ages, and I'm having a blast.

I just knocked through the bandit camp, having cleared Larswood and Peldvale. I met Viconia and saved her from the Flaming Fist dude.

I've now finished the chapter, returned to Beregost to sell scalps to Vai, and she attacks me! As do the Amnians in Nashkel!

Have I totally ballsed up? Is there a way to fix this? I'll consider cheating to fix it! My last save is ages ago!

    Your reputation is too low. You need to go to a temple and pay to improve it. You can also increase your reputation by completing certain quests.

    oh thank god. I didnt see the rep drop when i killed him! phew. thanks man

    Taking Viconia into your party drops your parties reputation by 2. Killing that particular Flaming Fist will not drop your reputation.

    Easiest temple to access is the one on the map east of beregost.

    You might consider looking up the temple donation guide at playithardcore (or another place ) so you know how much to donate.

    Also remember that evil characters leave your party at 19 rep and good and neutral ones tend to leave at 2 rep.
