Getting mods to work on mobile platforms

Has anyone had any joy getting mods installed and working in android or ios versions of the EE games?

From memory, the issue came in when trying to copy over the dialog file.

    Yeah on ios, dialog.tlk is untouchable without a jailbreak. All other mods are okay and super easy to install.

    I have scs, item randomiser, improved bams, some tweaks, whole areas/enemies/stores editted by me, and tons of custom portraits, all installed on my bg2:ee on Ipad2. Without a jailbreak.

    I have a rooted android device and can change all l files within the .obb location (which includes the dialog.tlk file), but as soon as I do this, the game wants to download the patch again.
