Is it even worth upgrading it?
The duration and strength seem short and capped.

    Why not? It isn't like there is a shortage of gold or gems in the game...

    If you can get a bejuril early in the game the horn of Valhalla may be worth your trouble. There is a bejuril in the umar hills quest.

    Though later in the game the berserk warrior isn't as good as a skeleton warrior which your cleric can summon five of.

    I did get it.

    Thing is I'm using SCS higher gold requirements too :)
