Importing characters between BG and IWD

I have some characters rolled and keepered from BG. Can I use these in IWD on android without issue, or are they incompatible? Does it depend on class?

    Well, I do recall being able to use my Baldur's Gate EE characters in Icewind Dale EE, and the modification made in EEKeeper [Changing the appearance of said character into a wyvern model] carried over with no problems whatsoever.

    Thing is, I did it on PC. I am unsure of how the android handles it, but if you can move the character file from BG:EE to IWD:EE, I would suppose it works the same.

    You can import BGEE or BG2EE characters into IWD EE but not everthing carries over like portraits unless you have them copied over and voicesets. And certain skill are exclussive to IWD
