Imoen left my evil party... Shouldn't she stay where I left her?

I was playing a good party with rep 20. I entered the house of a guy named Alain. When I talked to him 3 times he summoned bunch of hostile guards, and my reputation dropped to 1 after the battle.

Everyone except Dorn left my party. Neera and Rassad can be re-recruited in FAI and Nashkel, but Imoen just stood there for 4~5 seconds before leaving the area and completely disappeared from the game.

I've read Imoen leaving an evil party but all of those implied that she stays in the spot for you to come back for her later when you've recovered your rep. Is Imoen's bolting working as intended? Has it been patched since the release of BGEE?

Did you raise your rep and try it? Because I thought with the new patch Imoen would never leave an evil party, but I could be wrong.

I can only confirm that Imoen leaves forever at Rep 1 ... she did that when I messed up some evil activities related to Oberan's Estate. That was with version 1.3 something end of last year.

Both her article on Wikipedia and at baldur.wikia.com still claim she stays forever. Her biography also claims she stays forever.

It used to be she leaves but stays in the same area, as mentioned in old threads.

...but now she vanishes forever after saying "'Tis something most unnatural here and I want no part of it".
