Traps make my game crash

in BGII:EE Bugs (v1.3.2064)
Hi folks, anyone of you know a solution to this nasty bug? When the traps I have perviously set go off, my game starts to freeze ad infinitum, forcing me me to restart bg2. The number of traps I set doesn´t seem to matter in this case, it happens about 50% of the time. Any ideas?

    Hard to say for certain but I'd start by checking your graphics card driver is up to date if on PC, and same for your soundcard unless it is a x-fi card in which case the latest driver could be part of the issue. There are a few threads on that if you do have such a card.
