Small Names on Top of Characters

Hey there. I've installed BG:EE for the MacBook and I'm getting very small letters for the names on those 'scrolls' that appear on top of the NPC's. Also, on my scroll, with the name of my character, the letters are kinda on the bottom and the HP count is half hidden as it's out of the scroll (far bottom). Is this a known issue?
