Bala's Axe = The Ultimate Wizard Humiliator! :)

This axe is just lovely. I love to see powerful wizards gallivanting in agony when they are struck by it. It can bypass stoneskin and whatever (usual) protection spells wizard casts on themselves. Just one question though, is this axe considered a normal weapon or a magical weapon i.e if a wizard casts protection from normal weapons or protection from magical weapon, which of these two protections will block Bala's Axe?

    Should be easy enough to check if you have shadowkeeper, go pick up Garrick or a mage, shadowkeeper in a scroll of protection from normal weapons and then throw an axe at your mage. I don't think it's a magical weapon.

    [edited] I just tried it out myself and you can hit someone with protection from normal weapons, so it is magical when it comes to what it can hit.
