Potion of Life Transference potion bug?

in IWD:EE Bugs (v1.4.0)
Well, I looted the Potion of Life Transference from Kerish, and I used it on my Half-orc Fighter. The Constitution went down, Strength went up, but the Hit Points didn't change.

It's 160, but it should be 142, at least that's what the Hit Points are for my other Fighter at the same level with an 18 Constitution. What gives?

    What was his constitution score before using the potion, 19?

    Is your character a barbarian? 18 hp would be the difference between a barbarian (d12) and a fighter (d10) at level 9 and above if set to max hp.

    If you can rule out items and any spell effects then the next thing to examine would be mods installed or the .2da files, specifically hpconbon and hpwar. Your numbers are correct, though--a 10th level fighter with con of 19 should be at 138. Definitely weird.

    I remember the Corellon Larethian bug--that was one of the first big ones people discovered, or at least the first one I remember.

    If they aren't in the override folder then you probably haven't edited them or installed a mod that did.

    You haven't installed mods, but you have a bunch of .BIF files in the override directory? Are you running IWD:EE or the original IWD?
