Could anyone give me some advice to fix constant disconnections?

Hello I am hosting a game and my boyfriend who I am trying to play with is constantly getting DC'd from our game, and when he hosts it, our game just crashes out instantly. He is able to play with me but after about 20 minutes on my hosted game he gets disconnected, and it is rather consistent. Could anyone give me some advice to fix this?

    Your versions of the game and mod setups should be identical.
