Post-SoD additions to the SoA and ToB?

Something has been weighing on my mind since the announcement of the SoD. I understand it is meant to bridge the gap between two games, so obviously it will explain some things we see in the beginning of the SoA (like Imoen being dual-classed to a mage et cetera), but it is hard to argue that these minor revelations merit a Baldur's Gate interquel by themselves. Something that has an epic scale as the SoD will inevitably need to have at least some content that does not serve as a backstory to anything in the BG2, but worthy of remembrance by Charname and his/her canon companions. So what I'm asking is this: Will there be any post-SoD additions to the SoA and ToB? I'm not necessarily talking about items, but more in the lines of some new dialogue acknowledging the events of SoD here and there or maybe camoe appearances by people introduced in the SoD?
