Freedom and Mirrored Eyes

Why not make some green scrolls of Freedom? Green scrolls of Stone to Flesh were made available in BG1 where your party doesn't access to Level 6 spells; why not put some green scrolls of Freedom in the Underdark at a point in the game where there are no Level 9 spells? You could also put them in temples in Athkatla to help out with a certain encounter in that part of the game, which would have the bonus that the scrolls being in the Underdark wouldn't seem so ad-hoc.

Why not introduce the potion of Mirrored Eyes into BG2? This would give the player another way to deal with the gaze of attacks of the Umber Hulks (which could be very useful against the ones in the De'Arnise Keep) and the Vampires (if they still use gaze attacks).

    What is the point of most powerful spells which can permanently imprison any enemy, if every temple has scroll with counter-spell? Moreover in game is more scrolls of Freedom than opportunities for their use. We don't need more.

    Because potion of Mirrored Eyes is already in game? :wink:

    What's the point of Power Word: Stun if any Level 5 cleric can cast Remove Paralysis? I'd say we need more scrolls of Freedom in the earlier part of the game, which is why SCS gives you the opportunity to add them.

    I didn't realize potion of Mirrored Eyes was in the game. Or that they added it? They changed the description at least.
