Complete the game on Story Mode difficulty - not triggering

Hi

Yesterday night, instead of sleeping, I wen't through BG1:EE with a single character on Story mode.
I got the "flying solo" achievement, but nothing for "story mode".

I double checked at game creation after right before Sarevok, to make sure story mode was enabled for the entire playthrough.

Can anyone confirm whether this should work or not?
EDIT: I might want to add that I did this on ONE playthrough. 

Client: Steam
OS: Win10
Patch: Newest beta patch

    You should post this in the 'Road to v2.0' forum (and I think there already threads on the achievements problems there). This forum is specifically for bugs found in v1.3.
