Any benefit to starting over?

in Baldur's Gate: Siege of Dragonspear
After getting Siege of Dragonspear, as stated in the topic is there any reson to start a new game instead of importing my end game save?

    If you'd prefer to be a Shaman or a Cleric with the new template, you'll have to start over.

    If you don't need to be the new class or kit, you can import your end game save instead. Keep in mind that you should have all useful gear in your party inventory. You may also load up a save just before the end battle to have a more natural progression, but this is completely optional.

    Tutors in Candlekeep have new dialogues, on the courtesy of @Dee, you may want to try them ;)

    Also, if you're on Steam, you may want to get achievements from BG1EE, so this could be a reason to start a new game from Candlekeep.

    What's the status of the Steam achievements? Are they active yet for BGEE? Or do we need to wait for a patch first?

    they will not be active until the patch comes out.

    They are active if you use the beta of 2.0 patch on Steam.
