I... I hate to act obsessive, and so far I think the updated games with the expansion is great. But one thing changed, and in my opinion, not for the better.

Something that was a vast improvement in BG:EE over BGII:EE was this: a sound effect.

Okay, laugh as much as anyone wants! It's okay!

But, please, I LOVED the sound effect that the jewels and precious stones made *before* the update, the sound effect akin to what's on Icewind Dale.

    I miss a lot of the inventory sound effects. They made it feel tactile. Would be nice to see this added in.

    yep the SFX need to be back in, was no reason in the first place that they should of been removed.

    No one's laughing don't worry. Reading this is actually a relief from all the hate going around recently. Perhaps modders can help you with that so that your issues can be quickly addressed. I can only recall a few of the more active ones. Here @elminster @subtledoctor @Grammarsalad @kjeron

    Not just the sound effects, but the little scroll rolling out displaying an item, character, etc. I LOVED that about the original game.

    Sounds more like a bug than a deliberate design decision. Does any sound replace it?
