Returning from the parley

So, I assume this is a bug but just in case I simply missed something or if someone else found a way past the same problem I thought I'd ask.

After I've been to the parley and am told to return to camp, I assume something either should happen or I should go to talk with the commanders. Thing is nothing happens, and I haven't found any of the commanders at the coalition camp any more. Reloading the same or a bit older saved games didn't help, and I currently can't get on with the story.

I have the same issue... I wanted to spawn commanders and try if that works but I don't know their codes for C:CreateCreature("xxxxx")

How to solve the issue on your own end, until the patch comes out:

1) Go to My Documents/Baldur's Gate - Enhanced Edition folder and locate Baldur.lua in there.
2) Open it with a text editor of your choice and add a SetPrivateProfileString('Program Options','Debug Mode','1') line. Save and close.
3) Load your saved game after returning from parley
4) Simultaneously press CTRL and space keys
5) Type into console C:SetGlobal("bd_dosia_story","GLOBAL",0) (you can also CTRL-C/V it) and press Enter
6) Repeat for C:SetGlobal("bd_halasan_story","GLOBAL",0)

The plot should start moving forward.
