Locked door at the very end? [Spoilers obviously]

in Baldur's Gate: Siege of Dragonspear
During the scene where you head off under Baldur's Gate to flee the city, if you head over to the right hand side instead of going left there's a locked door that says a key should fit nicely in, not to mention the local area map for this place to be accommodating for some sort of secret there.

Anyone know where/what this key is, and what's behind that door at all?

    There is an alternative way to "leave" baldur's gate - you can find the key elsewhere in the map if you take the alternative route as the key is found on a corpse.

    The cache contains:
    Some potions and Scrolls

    Ah ok, I'm guessing that's an alternative option if the trial didn't go in your favour and you weren't being given the reward of escaping from the flaming fist?
