Mac - No music in BG2 EE since patch 2.0

Hello, I updated BG2 EE yesterday and I have encountered an annoying issue: the new patch has made the music disappear from both SoA and ToB (main menus included), while it has not been turned off in the sound options. Even weirder, the music is still working on The Black Pits 2.

I also own BG EE and SoD, and the music works fine on both of them. So I am quite clueless about what could be causing the issue.

My system is the following:
Mac OSX El Capitan (version 10.11.3)
CPU: 2,2 Ghz Intel Core i7
RAM: 16 Gb
GPU: Intel Iris Pro 1536 Mb

    I have the same issue. Any advice on how to fix it?

    yes, I am facing this exact problem too. It must be a v2.0 bug. We need to re-direct this issue to the report-bugs section.

    I've checked and it's already up there. Funny how the game is unplayable without it's soundtrack.

    Same problem here. Steam version on a 2015 Macbook Pro.

    I tried deleting and reinstalling the game, but no change. When I play on my Windows PC, it works fine.

    We've got a fix lined up for this in the next update.
