[Mod idea] No initiate dialogue attempt if in combat

Hello.

I always found it kinda hilarious how it is possible to kill npcs from a distance who are trying to initate a dialogue with you up close. Is it possible to make a mod that forces npcs to ignore their interact/talk order script in such cases (i.e. being attacked by the player)?

    This is fixed in EEs since the first release as far as I know.

    Hmm.. alright. I may have become too rusty and remember how it was in the old days.
