The most amusing variation of this is when my flatmate had twinked his character out with the best equipment and max level before leaving Candlekeep. 'Heya, it's me Imoen' was shortly followed by her death yell as he chunked her in one shot.

The Baldur's Gate wind and ambient noises. After playing BG too many times I notice when they are used in any movie or TV show (and they are used A LOT).
So unavoidably memorable that Bioware jokingly put the phrase(but thankfully not the audio) into just about every game they've made since. What else could it be?

The power words of spellcasting are awesome. I really like these translations.
I'm especially afraid of "vita..." and "incertus..." when fighting an enemy mage. Usually something really bad happens to my team after hearing these words...
It's also worth pointing out that the school of necromancy consists of white necromancy spells (healing, slow poison, etc.) and black necromancy spells (finger of death, Abi-Dalzim's horrid wilting, etc.)
For white necromancy spells there's one more incantation starting with "aqua...". Don't know how the full incantation goes, though.
Almost all these sounds and more ring a bell to me.

I have played Polish version so I wont put any quotes, but certainly remember the sound of shufflin gear in the inventory screen, especially weapon and arrows....cling...sshhtmmbrr.
I hated "You must gather your party before venturing forth . . ." after listening to it n times. but i missed it after i disabled it....................#!(&$@!(*&%)(*!@$
