SOD items in BG2

SOD has a lot of interesting items that are either have unique abilities or class/race specific bonuses. Some of these items can be imported to BG2, but many cannot.

Is there a way to import the rest of these items, or is there a mod that does so?

    You are in luck, Edvin is working on just such a mod now. bgii-ee-unofficial-item-pack. Lots of nice stuff, he mentions the SoD items down the thread a bit.
