Problem with game crash (Please read..)

My friend just bought Baldur's gate EE and as soon as she selects Baldur's gate in the menu the game crashes without warning. Does anybody recognize the problem? The game was recently installed.

EDIT: It says it stopped working.

    Please could you get and attach a directx diagnostic report.

    Windows/R, type dxdiag into the run box, click ok, wait for it to complete, save all information then drop the file into the leave a comment box here.

    Yes. Directx and the graphics card driver look fine.

    I'd say go through the other steps at https://beamdog.zendesk.com/entries/31177538-Windows-My-Game-Won-t-Launch-Or-Is-Crashing-On-Launch one by one and report back.

    The problem is still there. The game crashes in the main menu. @Gate70

    OK, could you zip and attach the latest crash report from documents -> infinity engine - enhanced edition please.

    Hey, Suddenly the game is now working. However I want to report a problem with multiplayer and I cant find the right section..

    When I assigned Imoen to my other friend, her screeen is black. We tried to save and reload but the screen is still black for her. @Gate70

    Try double-clicking Imoen's portrait on that machine to centre the camera on her position - might be viewing an unexplored area.
