Bug? Character saying lines in Imoen's voice during game play

in Baldur's Gate II: Enhanced Edition
I imported from Siege. During gameplay may character is saying things in Imoen's voice and saying things to Jan even though he's not in my party. Is this a known bug? Is there any way to fix it?

    Change your soundset.

    Have you recently installed/uninstalled the game and/or mods?

    Have not recently installed or uninstalled. As far as the sound set I'll have to google how to do that. It seems to me it's what fires it off not the sound set itself.

    It's because you imported a character with a BG1 soundset that's not available in BG2 (which btw, beamdog, you really should fix this).
    All you need to do is go to the customize screen and chose a new soundset. Go to your record screen (I think that's how it's called, it's on the left bar somewhere) and you'll see the customize button. I'm sure you can figure out the rest. :)

    This really needs to be fixed. Can't believe this must be the tenth or such thread about this problem.
