[SPOILER] [BUG?] Companions Missing

So, I'm out of Baldur's Gate and my platoon set camp.

Scouted the area, the forest too, went to a cave, all good.

When I'm about to leave I check a walkthrough to make sure nothing was left behind and I discover that Baeloth and the goblin NPC were supposed to show up in this same area.

I looked everywhere and nothing. Got the flyer from the body of one of the crusaders, but the cutscene doesn't pop up. Just some rooster hitting each other, nothing more.

I'm doing something wrong or this is a bug? Need to say that I killed Baeloth in BGEE (but as soon as a got in this area a message saying Dimension Door: Baeloth showed up in the log).
