"The Black Bow" was originally a short bow

In the original IWD/HoW the black bow (Conlan's Smithy) was originally a shortbow and usable by thieves. I do not know why the devs made it a longbow for the EE version, but it clearly limits the number of magical shortbows in the game (while there are dozens of other longbows available).

Was it intentional:?

    IWD only had one "bows" proficiency, with no separation into short and long bows.

    The Black Bow wasn't usable by thieves:



    So, the current implementation is fine.

    Really? I remember having my mage thief use it in Vanilla version. Perhaps I had modded my game?
