Giving other characters BG classes

Hey dudes.

I'd never really spent a whole lot of time with Icewind Dale, but I always liked the idea of creating an entire party from scratch. Granted, you can do that in BG(2)EE now, but it just doesn't have the same feel. Mostly because I can't see Gorion adopting 6 children and raising them all to be adventurers all with unique skillsets. :D

Anyway, I was toying with the idea of making a Dragon Age: Origins themed party, and it got me into thinking what sort of classes each of the characters would have in a BG/IWD game.

So, I thought it'd be fun for people to try and fit characters from other franchises into BG classes as well, and post them here!

Here's what classes I feel the Origins NPCs would fit into the best.

-Alistair would definitely be an Inquisitor. He's a Templar in DA:O, and those two classes seem very similar.
-I was originally trying to think of a mage class to fit Morrigan, but then I remembered the Avenger. A shapeshifter, who also gets access to some pretty deadly wizard spells? That fits Morrigan to a T.
-Wynne was a bit more difficult, as she's pretty much built to be the party healer in DA:O, and a cleric or druid doesn't really suit her. So, perhaps with the help of EEkeeper, she could be made into a Cleric/Mage.
-Oghren, of course, would be a Berserker.
-Leliana actually has a couple of BG classes she could fit into, but at the end of the day, I feel Bard suits her character the best. The ability to sing, pick some pockets, and really fit into any role the party needs just screams Leliana to me.
-Zevran, like Oghren, was also quite obvious. He'd be an Assassin.
-Sten was a little more difficult, because when you pick him up in Origins, he has no specializations or anything, and you can essentially build him up however you see fit, which is unlike many of the other NPCs who come equipped with a specialization beforehand. So, I decided to just give him a basic Fighter. He could arguably fit into a Wizard Slayer as well, given the Qunari's history with mages, but that's a bit of a stretch.
-I guess Shale would just be a golem of some sort? Or perhaps a Dwarven Defender with the model EEkeeper'd to be a golem.
Dog would be a dog.

I'll be interested to see what characters/classes you guys can come up with!

I can agree to most of the above, though:

I think Shale would perhaps be better off with a custom class like Wilson due to being a golem and all. Can be hard to emulate her playstyles considering I think you can deck her out very differently with all those gems and passive skills/forms so that she's either a glass cannon or a tank. I don't remember the details though since I really never did use her in my playthrough.
I wouldn't object to give Sten barbarian or berzerker class either, he's not really known for his temper.
Oghren doesn't have to be a berzerker IMHO and could be a vanilla fighter, but it matters little.
Alistair fits well as inquisitor but could also be a cavalier or even wizard slayer.

    - Papa Smurf: Clearly he is a wise specialist mage, probably Abjurer.
    - Smurfette: Swashbuckler no doubt.
    - Hefty Smurf: I'd say it would be a close call between Barbarian and Berserker.
    - Brainy Smurf: Possessing the knowledge of a Bard, yet none of their Charisma score.
    - Grouchy Smurf: Blackguard with a weakness for cute things.
    - Tracker Smurf: Ranger, nuff said.

All of them can be roleplayed as Xvarts from the Xvart Village who got captured by Gargamel (Gorion).

I agree, Shale would definitely be the most difficult to emulate out of all the Origins companions.
