state of SCS for BG 2: EE version 2.3?

Hello guys,

I am about to do my yearly BG2 run and I was wondering if SCS is supporting the current version of the Enhanced Edition?

I read that the autoinstaller is broken. So you need to to a "manual" installation (no clue what "manual" means in that regard), which takes quite a long while. Is that correct? They also say that you need to apply a fix in order to make SCS work under the current version of the game.

Would someone be so kind as to link me to the version of SCS applicable to the current game version and maybe also the fix?

    There's a bunch of stuff on making SCS work here. It's a bit of a bother to sift through all of it but if you look around you should find the patches to make it work.

    Hey there, i use Big World Setup and SCS2 installs just fine on BG2:EE 2.3.

    A version of SCS with EE patches already applied, has been uploaded here by @subtledoctor.

    Also, if you're on Windows you can just use the Big World Setup to install mods – it automatically applies the required patches for SCS and many other mods to make them work on the EE.
