Lothander, Mrek and the antidote to the geas poison

in Baldur's Gate: Enhanced Edition
I have finished the quest to get the antidote, and I have ten potions. Is it necessary for everyone in my party to drink and antidote? I know that the main party member uses it automatically. but what about the others?

    i don't think anyone needs to drink it, since the 10 charges are supposed to be extra. It's just one person though if I'm wrong.

    No need. Everyone is cured automatically, don't worry.

    Good to know, I just always had all drink it anyway for roleplaying purposes.
