Petrified Tamah in Mutamin's Garden Area Has Spells She Cannot Cast - Wonder Why? (Spoilers)

Interesting that Tamah, the petrified woman you encounter in Mutamin's Garden, is wearing armor but has several 1st, 2nd, and 3rd level spells memorized (Including Lightning Bolt and Monster Summoning I). Because of the leather armor she's wearing, they are grayed out - but they are memorized. If you charm her, you can see these spells. Perhaps the original developers envisioned her as a mage, and later turned her to a fighter. Maybe she was supposed to be battling with the crazed Gnome Mutamin via magic, and lost becoming petrified -- but instead that plot was dropped and she was modified to become just an unfortunate wanderer? Who can say?

Without an assigned script that tells her to cast she is unable to cast on her own. So even if she had no armor and were hostile she would not be able to cast spells on the party.
