Screen Shaking

Hi, is it possible to disable the screen shaking effect in Planescape Torment? In Baldurs Gate 1+2 and Icewind Dale you were able to do this via the .ini file. I would like to buy the Planescape Torment Enhanced Edition, because I never played the original game, but this depends on whether it is possible to disable screen shaking.

    Yes. You should be able to do it by going to the baldur.lua file (in my documents/planescape torment enhanced edition) and then changing this line from a 1 to a 0

    SetPrivateProfileString('Game Options','Critical Hit Screen Shake','1')

    Edit: Actually it looks like that doesn't change anything.

    Thanks for your answer! So that means it's not possible? :(
    I really wanted to play this game but from these kind of effects i get motion sickness and headache :-/
    I never understood why developers use such effects and don't make an option to turn this off... My hope was, that there is the same option (at least via the .ini) as in BG because the game uses the same engine.

    ps.
    @developers:
    Any chance that you can put in an option to turn that effect off? I think I'm not the only one who gets a headache or motion sickness from these kind of effects.
