My Shaman Won't Dance

So I recently started up a new BG 2 game and I wanted to play a shaman. The problem I am facing though is that as soon as I tell my shaman to she immediately stops.

Does anyone know what is up?

    Sounds like a script is active that makes her do something else, interrupting the dance. I assume you know that you cannot do anything else while dancing, so if you're trying to fight and dance or move and dance it won't work - scripts however tend to be a bit silly in that respect sometimes and will happily interrupt it at the worst times.

    To unassign a script, go to the character page and click "Customize", then "Scripts".

    Does your boomerang not come back as well?
