Weird UI portrait bug

Has anybody experienced this issue?
This is from BG EE SOD, but can also be reproduced on BG2 EE.
I'm running the most recent GOG version on Windows 7.

    Happens to me as well, but only with auto-created savegames (such as chapter saves).

    Is there any way to fix it?

    Well, you could make a quicksave and copy the portrait thumbnails over to the auto-created save.

    Apart from that we have probably no choice but to wait and see whether it'll be fixed by the next game patch.
