Looking For Modders (Baldur's Gate Projects and Discord Channel)

Looking to assemble modders to make more content / community expansion for Baldur's Gate.

Looking for anyone who wants to contribute new content and brainstorm as a team. Looking for all roles; interest is the most important aspect right now. I can teach most aspects of modding (tools, work flow etc). Looking to create a new community team to produce a passion project like Dark Side of the Sword Coast but with a new generation of the community.

Discord Channel: https://discord.gg/QgwCPt (I am Matthew).

I registered there, though I don't need to be taught most aspects of modding now. I'm rather confident when it comes to the things I care about, and people here have been helping to patch the worst holes elsewhere. But you better have some idea for your expansion before you assemble a team.

You are correct, I should have shared more information initially about my expansion designs and desired direction. I have many small projects that have been frozen over the years for I would join a team or the team would peter out. I figured to focus more on the people for I have come to the conclusion that great games are made by great people. I do have a Baldur's Gate related gallery here: https://withinamnesia.deviantart.com/gallery/51118284/Baldur-s-Gate-Path-of-the-Lost-Odyssey also I have some related videos of some of the projects that I have been working on related to the Original Baldur's Gate Expansion:

Also I have some items I have created here ready for a proper release: https://forums.beamdog.com/discussion/55349/within-amnesias-items-work-in-progress/p1

In short all of this work has no traction if there is no team and community support to back the project in spite of my best efforts. Thus I figured to find people first and see what was practical to do. I say this for my numerous other attempts at recruitment over the years have amounted to very little. So instead I focused on the people over the content for the content is nothing without the people. Fail towards success.

Oh, no! I'm not picking up your pieces for you. Finish your stuff yourself. I've got my own unfinished mods lined up.

I am a not asking you or anyone to pick up the pieces. Those are projects that started with the formation of past teams and ended with the petering out of the past teams. They are to show what my abilities are herein; although with that said I do have assets for future projects salvaged from those projects. I do want to get a team together and make another community expansion like Dark Side of the Sword Coast yet I am looking for people. I am looking for a fresh start.

If no person wants to undertake a large scale project with talents from across the community then this project will not succeed. Dark Side of the Sword Coast was a tour de force of the community's passion and it shows. I wonder within myself if that level of community collaboration can be still found to this day or if interest and passions have moved on.
