Skipping cutscenes on iOS?

in Baldur's Gate II: Enhanced Edition
I read in the 2.4 patch notes document that certain cutscenes and the dream sequences are now skippable, and some quick research told me that it’s done with ESC on PC. But I was wondering if it’s possible to skip them on my iPad, and if so, how?

I usually experience major fits of restartitis before I settle on a character, and having to watch Irenicus torture me and get arrested every time I re-roll usually makes me give up after a while and take a nap.
