Bug? Missing Voice

Some reason the voiceset of my character isn't in the choices of ones in BG2. Text still pops up for him saying stuff, but the voice it self is mute. I can not quite recall exactly what set it is though.

BG Voiceset "Male:Ernest" is missing from BGII files. I am sure this was in the original BGII.

    BG1 and BG2 have different voicesets (so probably your character comes from BG1:EE). Make sure you choose the right soundset from the Character Record screen.

    yeah you will likely need to manually change the voice set after import to BG2 via the same screen that has the option to set scripts.

    I tried doing that, and his voice isn't in it anymore. Which I swear from the originals it was in there. Though, again it has been years since I played these so maybe it wasn't.
