I listen to anything from Eric Satie to Dimmu Borgir, skipping jazz,r&b,pop, soul and anything with an accordion etc.

edit- The Eric Satie vid was age restricted for some retarded reason

Why i have to pick 3 i cant pick only 3 why would you do this to me, would i need to arrange them from best to worst allmost all have few good songs, System of a down has consistent quality so would have to pick that for number one second would have to be queen and third is a tough call now i have like 300options, well have to go with cradle of filth probably but not sure about this.

AC/DC, D:A:D and probably Kashmir for the last spot.

But I listen to lots of different bands.. those 3 are just the ones that are in rotation most of the time.

The order of these change depending on my mood, and some may be replaced, but here is the current list:

    Disarmonia Mundi, Soilwork, Breaking Benjamin.

I don't know how this is possible, but you and I seem to share an avatar and tastes in music. Never before have I met another Soilwork fan that I didn't introduce to the band. On a related note, their next CD is going to be a double album. I've not been so excited for a CD in years.

Top 3 is a bit limiting for me, I got a lot of favourites. Anyways, not necessarily in this order:

    Pink Floyd
    Sonic Youth
    Queens of the Stone Age
  • I have a very broad and eclectic taste, but if i MUST pick my 3 absolute favorites?

1.) Depeche mode/Dave Gahan (same thing, shut up)
2.) The Smiths/Moz (Same thing, shut up)
    3.) She wants revenge.
(Night wish as an honorable mention)

But i rock out most of the time, so if i can only pick 3 hard bands to jam to, it would be:

    1.) Tool
    2.) Disturbed
    3.) Staind
(Soad or rage for honorable mentions)

My pick would be Iron Maiden, Megadeth and Metallica (The 80's version is the best ;))

    In no particular order

1.Anything with Maynard James Keenan involved (Tool, A Perfect Circle, Puscifer, Passenger by deftones.. hehe)
    2. Radiohead or anything with Thom Yorke involved
    3. Beatles, Pink Floyd or Queen.

Picking just 3 is evil and impossible.

  • Son_of_ImoenSon_of_Imoen Member Posts: 1,806
De Kift, Joy Division, Anne Clark

too bad only a top 3 was asked for. Sympho-rock bands Marillion and Pink Floyd fell off but rank very high as well.

I'm a bit old and nothing in modern music remotely interests me so i have to go WAY back to Old prog rock bands like Genesis, ELP, Gentle Giant, Pink floyd etc. I'm also heavily into classical and jazz but those are such eclectic and wide ranging categories it's impossible to name favorites in those. And to end...nothing like listening to the magic that is Billie holliday.
