Trouble With Custom Portraits

in Icewind Dale: Enhanced Edition
I have been having trouble using custom portraits in this game.

I followed all of the instructions and created a folder called "Portraits" in the Icewind Dale Enhanced Edition folder but it seems like the game is unable to find it. The game dosen't seem to be able to find the folder. I have tried a few different naming variations such as "portraits" and "PORTRAITS"; all with out quotes. I have tried deleting the folder and recreating it. I have tried restarting my computer and everything I can think of and just can't get them to work.

They just don't show up. There is no custom button nor do they appear in the regular list by scrolling through all of the photos. I have never had problem using custom portraits in an infinity engine game before; and just can't figure out what it is that I am doing wrong.

What do I need to do?

    Hi, I think you have to create the folder "portraits" in the "Documents and Settings\+user+\My Documents\Icewind Dale - Enhanced Edition" folder.
    Thats where the savegames are stored too.
    For me this works.

    That works! Thanks. I didn't realize it was in a different place than all of the other games.
