unseeing eye glitch

I used to play baldurs gate 2 all the time but the last time I did I beat all the beholders and the door disappeared has that glitch been cleared up or was it just my copy?

    Sorry, can you clarify:
    - which version of the game did you play?
    - which door disappeared?

    it was the old pc game about 15 years ago you go into this area where there are a bunch of beholders look like tunnels if I remember right they can kill you easily I don't think you can come back from after I beat them all the door was gone and I was trapped in there they were part of the all seing eye quest that's all I remember

    I belive this doesn't happen in the EE.
