Restore NWN feature - pasting larger text into a text macro quickslot

It used to be possible in NWN to paste a large text (such as a flavorful emote) into the custom text macro and quickslot it. It is not possible anymore - it automatically cuts the paste to ~40 characters. Can this please be restored to enhance quality roleplay on persistent worlds? Thanks!

    If this used to be the case, report it as a bug on Redmine.
