Anyway to automatically transfer saves from iPad to pc and vice versa?

I have the steam version and iPad version of Baldur’s Gate 2 Enhanced Edition.
Currently in order to transfers save from the iPad to the PC and vice versa I use iCloud Drive. But I also have to turn the save file into a zip folder and rename it bg2save to transfer it to the iCloud Drive and then to the iPad game from the pc.
If I want to move the save file from the iPad to the pc I have to hold the quick save and transfer it to iCloud, open it on the pc, rename it to a zip file, extract it, and then put it in the save folder.
Is there an easier way to do this or have it done automatically?
