Custom subtitles for a voiceset?

Hey guys,

A couple of months ago I made a voiceset and after a bit of a struggle and a lot of help from TheMadHatter and Dark_Ansem, I finally managed to get it in game and release it - https://neverwintervault.org/project/nwn1/audio/soundset/northern-english-warrior-voiceset

However, I could never get subtitles working or write some into the game. Every time my character speaks I get a 'Bad Strref' message.
I was wondering if that was due to my noobishness or whether it was the case for everyone?
Is this something we should request to be opened up for us?

If anyone can help me I'd be very grateful.
Cheers.

It's been ages since I messed with voicesets but it was pretty straight forward. The text requires you to have a custom tlk, and your ssf file will need to point to the corresponding tlk entries..
I'm pretty sure the Custom Content Guide covers it.

    Thanks Toro.

It seems I was doing all the right things, but SSFEditor hasn't been saving the TLKstrings properly.
I selected the number 3832 for "Male, Powerhungry" (just punched in the first soundset I found) and used SSFEditor to sort it all out, but sadly in game it still says 'Bad Strref'.
On closer inspection with NWNViewer none of my files have TLKRef at all.
There's a mystery solved, thanks to your encouragement.

I'll look into creating a custom TLK file for the subtitles.

Edit: Sadly this is still not working for me, no matter what I try.
