HouT cutscene never ending and game breaking from there

After taking the teleporting door back to Waterdeep, at the very end of the game when I am going to fight against Mephi, a cutscene of waterdeep guards and undead fighting happens and never ends. If I press esc thecutscene ends but then I am left alone in an area with Mephi and I cant even speak to him (because it is hostile to me).

I have tried it three times and it always happens the same. The thing is that when that area is loading, I have seen all the times that the letters in the loading screen go blank for a few moments, something that never happens in other loading screens. I have had no problems so far with the game. Some help would be appreciated. Thank you.

    Can you please upload a save as a ticket on support.baldursgate.com so that our QA could look? Also attach information about your game version, system and graphics card.
